Merci pour le spectacle de Sherbrooke!

Hi Roger & all,

What a wonderful, emtional and magical evening I had as well as many others when Roger came to our little town of Sherbrooke last night. Several standing ovations after classics by Roger were heard and appreciated. Without a doubt, no one left disappointed. Roger's warmth and human presence is appreciated as well as his gift and wondeful voice (old wine only gets better with time...) and he shows and proves to us all that the magic of Supertramp lives on and that much of that magic was a direct result of his natural God given talent. I was extremely pleased to hear 3 tracks from Crisis? What Crisis? (one of my favourite albums. Obviously the big one left out (probably because of difficulty of reproducing the complex arrangements) was Fool's Overture but it was nice to hear others. The only thing I that left me yearning was possibly that several songs from Open the Door could have been included, such as Love is a thousand times and For every man. Open the door is probably Roger's finest post-Supertramp offering. Unfortunately probably not as well known as the others but a marvelous treasure from a man that has given us so much. Thank You Roger for your love, talent and kindness. Sherbrooke was a long way home but we thouroughly enjoyed your detour and hopefully your road will lead you back again someday. As you well know, Quebec loves you and we can tell you love it too. By the way, your saxophonist and partner is very talented.

Take care, much love, health, peace and happiness to you and yours!

Michel
